Julie Gabriel author of The green Beauty guide is behind this recipes, she thought of every girl and developed these temporary intensifying glosses for blondes, brunettes and red-heads. " You will get similar effects to using store-bought products, but without the fragrances dyes and harmful chemicals" she says.
All it takes is a few minutes once a week and few key ingredients.
Brunettes recipe:
1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 cup plain yogurt, 1 teaspoon honey, 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar.

Whisk ingredients into a paste. Wash your hair, squeeze out the water and apply the mask.Keep it on for 3 to 4 minutes.wrap a towel around your neck to prevent the mask from dripping as it may stain skin temporally. Rinse and style.
How it works
Honey moisturizes while acids in the yogurt(lactic) and vinegar(acetic) penetrate the hair shaft, allowing the cocoa's pigment to sink in.
Blondes recipe:
1 Lemon, 1 raw potato, 1/2 cup chamomile tea, room temperature.

Squeeze the lemon juice.Grate the potato and blend with the lemon to form a paste.Add the tea and stir. Wash hair then spread the mix throughout hair. massaging lightly. Cover the head with PVC-free shower cap then expose to sunlight for few minutes for heat. Rinse and style as usual.
How it works
The chamomile and lemon act as whitening agents and the acidic lemon juice allows potato enzymes-which help brighten blonde hair- to break through the tough keratinized outer layer of the hair.
Redheads recipe:
3 medium carrots, 2 tablespoons honey, 3 table spoons plain yogurt.

Finely chop raw carrots in a food processor or blender.Add yogurt and honey, then mix well. Wash hair then spread the mask throughout the hair, massaging lightly. Keep it for few minutes and rinse, style as usual.
How it works
The yogurt lactic acid helps the coloring antioxidants in the carrots get pass the surface of your locks, so they really seep in. Honey, a natural humectant, hydrates the hair.
Wishing you & me shiny hair.
