Nature Beauties & Sesame Chocolate Truffles

Ciao Ciao! Hope life is treating you well! I am enjoying my time and wishing there were more hours in a day, the silly wish of every busy human!
I am always on the hunt of new disoveries in the food section and I was seduced by this gorgous gift of nature. Tamarillo "Nice to meet you!"
The flesh of the tamarillo is tangy and mildly sweet, and may be compared to kiwifruit, tomato, or passion fruit. The skin and the flesh near it have an unpleasant bitter taste, and usually aren't eaten raw.

Isn't it a hottie in the fruits land?
And had the pleasure to meet for the 1st time the Horned melon which is an African cucumber! Quite impressive for a cucumber!?

Didn't get it, don't know what to do with it??!!

White Capsicum? I didn't know they could be white!!! Everyone knows that large bell-shaped sweet pepper comes in green or red or yellow or orange or black varieties Right? so maybe this is a pale yellow?! I need to investigate! If you bumped into this pale white/yellow folk please let me know what's the color..
Will let you know if Tamarillo works  in a smoothie ;-)
And Look who found us!

How can anyone resist? His mom left him. He lost his brothers and was much smaller when he came to our door;-( He needed a good wash, food & lots of love

We named him Bob the survivor ;-)

Kayan, my littlest boy has a play buddy now when his broZ are at school!
In The chemistry of emotions  one of the main tips to create a good chain of reactions in the body/mind is marked by tenderness and concern for others.

Ooooh!
Now back to the food! I was nicely surprised to find RAW sesame seeds , it's as hard as finding raw cashews!

Check this article in the world's healthiest food for more info on this tiny goodie.
Open sesame!
I can make raw Tahini (sesame seed paste) since I am not a big fan of canned food! The healthiest choice would be tahini made out of raw hulled sesame seeds, with nothing added, subtracted or refined. If you've never used it, now would be a good time to begin. You will be able to make many dressings, soups and main courses that take advantage of all tahini has to offer. Just keep in mind that the raw version is the most
clean & nutritious.
I can make raw Hummus from scrach with raw soaked chickpeas! Yum!
But instead of making Tahini or Hummus I made a much better version of the Asian Jin deui .Took me few minutes to make this sesame chocolate truffles, packed with yumminess for the whole family.
Sesame Chocolate truffles

For 12 raw truffles
1/2 cup pecans
1/2 cup almonds
1/4 cup any soft dates. best choice: Medjool
1/4 cup cacao
1 tbs sesame seeds
2 tbs maple syrup
1 tbs coconut oil
Pinch sea salt
Process nuts, sesame, cacao and sea salt in food processor until fine. Add dates, syrup, coco oil and process until crumbly.
Make your sesame truffles the size of your choice and roll them in sesame for fun.
Refrigerate & enjoy every day!
Stay tuned lovely beings!
XoXo

Hellooooo, did someone say chocolate? Those truffles would be a nice addition for the holidays. Thanks!

"Bob the survivor" – well, okay then. Bob sure is a cutie pie.

I'd be interested to know how you like the tamarillo. I've had them when I was in the Andes, but don't recall ever seeing them here in the States. FYI: the yellow ones are a wee bit sweeter.

Should be easy to find raw sesame IF the distribution on the Saudi Market is the same everywhere!

Wow! Those truffles look fabulous! I've never had tamarillos before but anything that is reminiscent of passion fruit is great!

Bob is precious! He is unbelievably cute, I could almost feel his soft fur through my computer!
