Boo! "mieux vaut tard que jamais!"
Late is better than never! Hope you all had a great week and a happy healthy halloween!
My poor neglected journal! The past few days have been quiet manic, we had to be away for five days and I am not complaining! We were invited to the F1 in Abu Dhabi, which coincided with our 8th anniversary! We had good times with good people, everywhere you look they were fast cars, models, alcohol and cooked foods, boys heaven!! My hell except for the cars;-}My food choices slacked off a bit but nothing major, I had more cooked than raw for sure and it have been a while so I have a general feeling of unease, starting tomorrow I am getting my mojo back with an ultimate juicing attack till dinner. I think my colon have been confused and need a kick start, nothing better than getting juicy!
Moi! at Pit lane

The ultimate Ferrari
Raikkonen, isn't he sexy cute?
Back to my slack off ;-0}
Even if you are the healthiest of eaters, a tiny getaway can set off a dietary bender that will leave you feeling greasy, lethargic and heavy. It's too much to deal with when you know how it feels on natural foods, elevated, light, energetic and more! The planning is the name of the game when you try to eat right on a trip but this classic statement is hard to apply when you go to F1. No regrets, only fun memories. When we got back the flu hit the house! A daily medicinal juice packed with C and an extra intake of green powders: Barley grass & spirulina got us back on our feets right away. All Chlorophylly options should be taken daily: wheatgrass, barley grass, spirulina, blue green algae, kelp, seaweed, alfalfa juice, chlorella...It's the smartest way to avoid winter viruses. In this part of the world flu is everywhere and we were no exception I guess!
Daily Kombucha tea with raw Manuka honey and a vitamin C bomb made with juiciness of orange, carrot, Fuji apple, a slice of red pepper & 1 inch of fresh ginger.
D e l i c i o u s !
Hope life is treating you all well, be healthy, be happy!
XoXo

Your drinks are so pretty!
I know being away can really put a dent in a raw food diet. It's nice to get away, but the food issue has always been hard. My husband an I end up not feeling too well - we have to think of a better way to do it.
Happy Anniversary!! Glad you had a wonderful time! I can definitely relate how a bender can make you feel. I do have my moments.
Glad to read that all is well with you and your family. =)
Thank you Eating Raw for passing by;-) the important thing is not to make it a struggle!
For me food hangover is the worst!
ChocolateOrchid;-) Thank you so much! Glad you stoped by.

What FUN! And SO glad you found my blog...I'm adding you to my list. Wee...!
The F1 looks like tons of fun. I know nothing about cars, but those look like they go very fast. The juice looks very good, I like adding ginger to sweet juice drinks too.

Manuka Honey is a great natural healer that everyone should know about.
